The Program Manager for the supported employment transitional housing program will oversee the daily operations, staff management, and strategic implementation of a program designed to assist individuals in securing and/or maintaining employment as they work to identify permanent housing. The role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, fostering partnerships with local businesses and community organizations, and driving continuous improvement to meet the needs of the women we serve.

The role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, fostering partnerships with local businesses and community organizations, and driving continuous improvement to meet the needs of the women we serve.
Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee all implementation and administration of the supported employment transitional housing program.
- Supervise a team of staff who provide case management and other client services on-site.
- Support residents in maintaining their current employment by providing ongoing guidance and resources.
- Manage and maintain the staff schedule to ensure appropriate coverage for the temporary programs during operating hours.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and funding requirements.
- Ensure staff enters accurate, timely, and complete information in HMIS as required by contract.
- Monitor program budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Hire, train, and supervise program staff, including case manager(s), and support staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Facilitate client reasonable accommodation requests.
- Document and manage client grievances, incident reports, staff logs, and monthly contractual reports.
- Develop individualized employment and education plans tailored to each resident’s goals and needs.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and conduct weekly or bi-weekly supervision with all team members.
Partnership Development:
- Establish relationships with local employers, housing providers, and community organizations.
- Facilitate partnerships that enhance program services and support participant success.
- Represent the program at community meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the MMVC program manager to identify supportive employment opportunities for the women in the program.
- Participate in organization-wide committees, departmental meetings, and training as assigned.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Track and analyze program outcomes, using data to inform program improvements.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to the Program Director and Data & Evaluation team.
- Monitor the progress of clients toward their goals.
- Identify opportunities for program innovation and growth.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Health, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, with a focus on supported employment, housing services, or related fields.
- If a social worker, LGSW is required, and if a counselor, LGPC required
- Experience and ability with outcome-based program management and evaluation
- Knowledge of DC social services resources and compliance requirements
- Excellent ability to make and maintain respectful rapport with clients and co-workers from diverse backgrounds.
- Understanding and experience working with vulnerable populations and the related issues of addiction and mental illness
